I have a philips 42" plasma tv and for some reason all i can get from the sound is spatial or mono ?

i used to get a choice of surround sound or stereo i have checked all connections and they are fine.Does anyone know why i have lost my stereo sound?

You may be able to adjust the sound setting on your remote control, or in the settings (sound) in the main menu.
