What type of HDMI cable do I need for a PS3 connected to a 50" Philips plasma tv?

I want the best picture quality for both watching tv (Satellite with HD channels) and playing games on my PS3. I saw several types at Best Buy including adapters but was not sure which to buy. Also, do I need male-male or male-female? Is Monster really the best? I do not mind paying more if it is worth it.

Any standard, male-male HDMI cable will work fine.

Monster is overpriced. WAY overpriced.

For $10-15, you can get a no-name brand cable that is just as good – if not better – than anything with the Monster brand on it.

If you can wait a few days, ordering on the internet is a good choice for cheap, but good, cables.

  2. Whenever you are experiencing troubles with your Playstation3 laser (or any other part inside for that matter) and have to open it up, consider the Console Toolkit. It is a universal opening tool for ALL videogame consoles on and off the market. A plastic card displaying exactly what tool to utilize for each system is included. Take a look at my link if you want to find out additional information regarding this particular item.
