  • Plasma TV question?
Over 2 years ago, I bought a 60 inch Plasma TV. I believe it is 1080i, since 1080p type TV's came out after I purchased this one. My question is, I have seen exceptional pictures in stores from Blu-Ray DVD players, which are 1080p..(and most newer TV's are capable of 1080p.) Using a 1080i type set, will the video look any better than just watching a cable HD show?...

  • what is the best value for and quality for a 60" tv, not erar projection (plasma or lcd)?
Plasma is probably going to be your most common find for 60-inches. But, if you do some shopping, you should be able to find an LCD for about 1/2 the cost. – Sony offers a nice 60-inch Widescreen HD LCD (Model: KDF-60WF655) for around $2,000. – Sony also offers a 60-inch 1080-p Grand Wega (Model: KDSR-60XBR2) for around $3,000. – Samsung offers a...

What do you think is a better buy? Well I think the KEY to purchasing the BEST one is to see if you have Panasonic or Pioneer servicers in your area…. Because eventually...

  • where to find 60 in.plasma tv for about $500 or less?
Look on e-bay. There are many used or refurbished ones you can get. But be wary, many of those "great deals" come without any type of warranty and the shipping is outrageously high. Also checkout a seller's feedback before purchasing to make sure the seller is reputable. You could also contact dealers to see if they have a refurbished unit to sell and etc....
