Why does my plasma hdtv have a white line?
What can I do to fix it? I’ve been watching it for about a week, turn it on this morning and the line pops up!
It’s a dashed white line running horizontally on the upper half of the tv. Is it fixable? I’ve been watching the tv fine for a week and this morning it pops up!

When you start to get lines or other annoying things on your TV screen then something is wrong and usually it’s going to get worst. Does this happen on every channel? Was the picture fine a few weeks ago and this problem just started? How old is your TV. Ruling out any outside interference such as problems with your cable company or bad weather…you may need a new TV…but if you can live with the problem…deal with it until you decided to buy a new set. When you play a DVD is the line there? If your TV is still under warranty take it in and let them deal with it. I know plasma TV’s are expensive. Good luck!
