LG Plasma TV Help with Captions?

Want A Free HDTV? - Click Here Now!

I recently bought a new 50" LG Plasma TV and got everything all hooked up just fine. However, on 3 or 4 channels (including some HD channels) captions pop up and when I go to try and turn them off it won't let me as the TV thinks they are already de-activated. So, I have no idea how to get rid of these annoying captions and they take up a large portion of the upper part of the screen! Please help and thank you!

if there's a button on ur remote thats labeled "C.C" or says closed caption, press it until it says off. If there isnt a button on ur remote, go to the TV's menu and go to edit channels (or something that has to do with channels) and a list should pop-up saying things like: lable channels, change language, Closed Caption, etc. if there is a closed caption thing go on it, and a little label should appear saying if the captions are on or off.
