i have a Panasonic 42 Inch Plasma TV that keeps shutting off. I unplug it then it comes back on. Picture is ok

I'm curious to this also. I have a 42" Panasonic Plasma. (it is nearing 5 years old) that has just started exhibiting the same behavior over the past week. Picture is fine also.
Honestly, it sounds like a power supply problem, but I haven't had the time to research it in depth. (or have a repairman visit since it's out of warranty and the amount CC wanted to charge me for extending it was more than I'd pay for a new tv)

shutting of TV not a good sign. hope you got insurance or still have the 90 days store guarantee.

you need to do 10 jumping jacks, 10 pushups and run in place for 20 seconds, in that order, in front of the tv. then, it should be ok!
