I had been waiting 3 years to take the plunge into buying an HD TV. I Researched LCD vs Plasma and still was waiting because the standards kept changing daily. Finally I found a product that measures up to the hype. The Kuro Pio Pro-110FD is amazing on the 1080P Blu-ray movies. When watching movies my friends repeatedly say it looks like the picture is coming into your lap jumping out the tv it's so real. Playing Playstation 3 on it is prestine and envelops you into whatever game you happen to be playing at 1080p. I keep the gaming to only 1 hour at a time on this tv. I do most of my gaming on my LCD computer screen. There is a built in screen saver to ward off burn in which isn't to much of an issue with todays newer higher quality plasmas. The HD channels are breathtaking especially the Discovery Channel HD and the NFL Sunday Ticket HD channels. That was another reason I waited because up until now when looking at the LCDs like the Sony XBR5 I would still notice pixelation tails when watching fast movement in sports. Since I watch alot of sports this was unacceptable but the processor in this Kuro PRO-110FD delivers the goods with no pixelation. I'm a happy camper. Look around there are good deals on this plasma especially in the L.A. area for low 4Ks with manufacturer's warranty. Don't invest in this higher level plasma unless you plan on getting it calibrated. The preprogrammed settings that come with the PRO-110FD don't do the tv justice. You need the calibration to bring out the maximum protential plus it also helps during the breakend period which is about 6 months according to the calibration tech. Plan on stretching out your picture for the first 3 months to properly allow all the pixels to breakin. There is a anti reflective coating in the glass and a light sensitive sensor built into this plasma. Before you calibrate this tv you should turn off this auto light sensor and leave it off permanently after the calibration. Sound is average if you plan on using the attached speakers but if you're going to spend this kind of money you should at least have a good quality A/V receiver like a Denon or Pioneer with 5 to 7 speakers and a subwoofer attached. Make sure you invest in some quality HDMI cables like Audioquest (HDMI-3) it does make a difference on the picture. I hope this review was somewhat helpful. But the best thing to do is to go into your local Magnolia Audio or Ken Cranes or wherever to see it in person but make sure you put the settings in pure mode in the store and that's how good the tv looks without any settings adjusted and know after calibration if improves in the picture coloration 20 times. Enjoy I know I will be.

Pro : HD Picture is magnificent. Black level is superb. 1080p
Con : Make sure you pay the additional $500 to calibrate this Plasma
