Can you recommend an affordable LCD or Plasma TV that has a built in web browser? Need to show web site on TV
December 3, 2008 – 2:53 pmWithin our company we have charts and graphs with current sales metrics on an internal intranet. We want to put these up live on a TV in each of our seven offices. We are aware we could do this with a VGA cable to a laptop/desktop but we were hoping for a TV Model that could connect via ethernet or wireless and includes a web browser.
Actually, Panasonic has just recently announced their 850U models which may do just what you are asking for. These TVs include what they call Viera Cast, "a web menu that's built into the television, letting you enjoy great online entertainment like YouTube™ videos and your digital photos on Picasa Web Albums™, all with just a click of a button - - no PCs or external boxes are required."
