		<description>My guess is that the problem lies in turning off the monitor without turning off the computer.
When you turn the monitor back on it already has a full signal input without being fully powered up.
The flashing on and off is typical of bad capacitors on the monitor&#039;s power board.
The attempt to draw power for the display from a cold board is probably ruining the capacitors which is why you have to keep replacing the monitors.
