Purchased the Pro 1150 HD after fully review literature and consumer evaluations. Received my unit and after 36 hours of playing time suddenly there was no picture and no sound-- only the blinking of a red light in series of three followed by a brief pause then persistent repeating of this fault alert.

Apparently the Pioneer service facility has had a number of similar early failures! Moreover, I am told it will be at least four (4)!! weeks before my plasma screen will be placed on the diagnostic bench for evaluation-- then if the problem can be found, additional time from there.

Pioneer reliability should be severely questioned,vis-a-vis Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi and ogthers, from whom Ihave either had no problems or prompt repair. Buyer beware of Elite reliabity and support.
Pro : available
Con : electronic failure rate
